Mary Blanton-Bennion was a daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend to many.

Mary was a native Wyomingite who suffered from pulmonary hypertension (PPH). 

The Mary Bennion Foundation was established in 2001 to honor the memory of Mary.

Mary received a double lung transplant in August of 1994 in St. Louis, Missouri.  Her transplant allowed her many extra, wonderful years in which she was able to watch all three of her sons graduate from high school and enjoy many wonderful times with her family and friends. 

Through their experiences with Mary, her family and friends understand the many concerns and emotions surrounding the organ transplant process.
